Welcome to the 27th edition of New Hampshire’s premier juried exhibition, celebrating the creative excellence of New England’s graphic and web designers, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and students.
Since its founding in 1988, the New Hampshire Creative Club’s (NHCC) mission has been to promote community, education and inspiration among Northern New England’s professionals working in the fields of advertising and visual communications. The NHCC also offers unique opportunities for college and university students to meet, learn, and interact with professionals from around the state.
Today the NHCC continues to serve as a forum for networking and professional development through its monthly meetings, panel discussions, presentations and workshops on timely topics relevant not only to its members but all those in and around the Granite State who share their interests. The NHCC’s membership includes a dynamic mix of graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, web developers, videographers, printers, teachers, writers, suppliers and others in related fields.
We are pleased to announce that the New Hampshire Creative Club is partnering with the YMCA for the 27th Annual Exhibition.
Select entries, chosen by an expert panel of judges, will be displayed at the YMCA, located at 30 Mechanic Street in Manchester, NH. The opening reception will be held on Tuesday, June 16th, with refreshments, an awards presentation, and general hobnobbing and admiration. The show will then be available to travel to other art centers, businesses and schools, if requested.
Deadline: 11:59PM, Thursday, May 14th, 2015.
All entries will be evaluated on the basis of creative excellence and outstanding execution. Work selected for the exhibition will display a high degree of both. Entries that involve both typography and images will be judged on their level of creative integration, craftsmanship and excellence, and how well they convey their concept and intent. Entries that involve visual elements only, such as photography and illustration, will be judged based on the creative excellence of those images. A minimum of 25 entries will be exhibited. As merited, Awards for Creative Excellence will be chosen by show judges from among the work accepted into the show. Top honors will go to the BEST OF SHOW, as chosen by the panel of judges.
The YMCA will select 5 “YMCA’s Choice Award Winners” for additional recognition. These winning entries will be framed and auctioned as part of a YMCA fundraiser. The proceeds from which will be used to secure scholarships for children to attend the YMCA summer programs. Artwork not chosen as the five “YMCA’s Choice Award Winners” may be selected to be framed and placed on semi-permanent display on the walls of the YMCA, with artist attribution. It is the NHCC’s sincere hope that by partnering with the YMCA, we will provide artistic enrichment to the community, encourage young developing artists to pursue a creative career and also grow public awareness of the club and our member’s artwork.
